Terms & Conditions

Our E-shop is mainly focused on spare parts for computer technology, telecommunication equipment and electronics, designed for service organizations and technicians with the appropriate professional education. Spare parts are usually "bulk" – not in commercial packaging in boxes. Due to the buyer's presumed knowledge, spare parts are not provided with instructions for use or assembly documentation unless the supplier considers it necessary. The supplier reserves the right to supply compatible devices in place of those ordered in the same price range, unless the customer specifies a different requirement in the order. The supplier guarantees compatibility. Spare parts are new and have a 24-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Due to the unavailability of some parts or their high prices, we also offer used parts if possible, but it is always stated on the website that it is a used part. The warranty of the parts used is also 24 months. The supplier points out that some parts intended for "non-detachable assembly" (touch panels, some displays, etc.) need to be properly tested before assembly. Gluing or other method of installation, after which the device can no longer be returned / claimed in its original condition, voids the warranty. The supplier undertakes, as far as possible, to provide consulting services or help with the repair of equipment in its service for an "overhead price". The supplier is willing to take back (at current prices) unused spare parts or exchange them for others, but they must be in the same condition as when sold. When returning spare parts to the customer (after the statutory period of 14 days), the supplier does not refund the postage, unless the faulty delivery was due to the customer's fault.

These terms and conditions apply to purchases in the online store, which is operated by Ing. Petr Beránek. The Terms and Conditions specify the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer.

Return of goods within the statutory period within 14 days

Seller: Ing. Petr Beránek, ID 63779293, Tax ID CZ491101078, with its registered office at Lindava 270, 471 54 Cvikov, registered with the Municipal Trade Licensing Office of the Cvikov Municipal Office under Ref. No.: 92107/99

Buyer: an entity (consumer) who has entered into a contract for the purchase of goods with the Seller.

The buyer - consumer is legally entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods (in accordance with Act No. 89/2012, Section 1832 (2)). The withdrawal is effective against the seller from the moment the buyer's written declaration of withdrawal from the contract is delivered to him.  Withdrawal from the purchase contract may be sent by the buyer to the address of the seller's establishment or to the seller's e-mail address: The goods must be returned to the seller within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal. If the buyer withdraws from the contract, the seller is not obliged to return the received funds to the buyer before the buyer hands over the goods to the buyer or proves that he has dispatched the goods. The seller will refund the purchase price of the goods and the shipping costs within the statutory period - but only in the amount corresponding to the cheapest method of delivery of the goods offered by the seller.

If the buyer decides to return the goods within the legal period, we strongly recommend that you follow these guidelines:

 The goods in question should be properly packaged to prevent damage on the way back

 It should be undamaged

 It should be complete, preferably with the original proof of purchase.

 The goods must be delivered to the address of the establishment: SEMAFOR SHOP, Komenského 295, 471 54 Cvikov

 The goods must not be sent cash on delivery!!

We recommend that you send this completed form together with the goods for faster processing.

 In the event of non-compliance with any of the above instructions, which results in damage or incompleteness of the product, the rejection of the right of withdrawal cannot be ruled out.

If the buyer withdraws from the purchase contract, the buyer bears the costs associated with the return of the goods to the seller (freight charges), even if the goods cannot be returned by the usual postal route due to their nature, unless the parties involved agree otherwise.

Complaint conditions (Exercise of the right from defective performance)

Buyer: an entity that has concluded a contract for the purchase of goods with the Seller.

1. If the goods have obvious defects, i.e. especially if the goods are handed over to the buyer in a damaged transport packaging, the buyer is entitled not to accept the goods. In such a case, it is necessary to draw up a complaint protocol with the relevant employee of the transport service and send it to our address. This preserves the buyer's right to the provision of proper performance by the seller.

2. In the event that the buyer discovers mechanical damage to the goods after receipt, even if the transport packaging is not obviously damaged, the buyer must notify the seller within 2 days of receipt of the goods by phone at 487 752 624 or by e-mail at 

3. In the event that there are defects in the goods during the warranty period, the buyer can make his legitimate complaint. The goods must be sent or transported to the seller's premises: SEMAFOR SHOP, Komenského 295, 471 54 Cvikov. To make a claim, it is necessary to present a sales receipt or otherwise prove that the goods are under warranty. The length of the warranty period is governed by the applicable provisions of the Act.

Complaint handling

Complaints are made at the seller's registered office.

The complaint is settled immediately, in complex cases within 3 working days.  This period does not include a period of time reasonable according to the type of product or service needed for an expert assessment of the defect. The complaint, including the removal of the defect, must be settled without undue delay, no later than 30 days from the date of filing the complaint, unless the seller and the consumer agree on a longer period. If the claimed goods cannot be repaired or exchanged for others within the statutory period, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract and refund the purchase price.

The buyer will send or deliver the claimed goods in person to the address of the seller's establishment: SEMAFOR SHOP, Komenského 295, 471 54 Cvikov, Czech republic. We recommend that you send this completed form with the goods for faster processing.

After the complaint has been properly settled, the seller will send the repaired goods to the buyer's address.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper packaging of the goods during transport to the seller.

The warranty claim expires in the event of improper installation or improper commissioning of the goods, as well as in the event of improper handling, i.e. in particular in the case of:

o breaking or removing protective seals and stickers, if the product is provided with them.

o Use of goods in unsuitable conditions.

o In the case of touch glass and glued displays, the warranty expires at the moment of their application (i.e. peeling off the protective foils in the case of double-sided adhesive tapes). The display or touch glass must therefore be thoroughly tested before installation. After installation, it can no longer be proven whether the defect was caused by poor handling of the device or the failure of a spare part.

Delivery times:

Goods that are in stock are usually delivered to you within 24 hours of order confirmation to any address in the Czech Republic, or within 2 working days to Slovakia. Delivery to other countries may vary depending on the distance.

For postage and handling, see the shipping section. In the case of sending abroad, the shipping price will be determined individually.

If you are a VAT payer from abroad (within the EU) and you do not state a valid VAT number in your order, we DO NOT REFUND the VAT later!

Information on out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes

In the event that a consumer dispute arises between the seller and the consumer arising from a purchase contract or a contract for the provision of services, which cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer may file a proposal for an out-of-court settlement of such a dispute with the designated entity for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes, which is:

Our company duly takes responsibility for its products and for financing their collection and environmentally friendly disposal.

Technical data and instructions for use

The information required to get the product up and running is provided in the product/device description on our website, from where it can be printed. If it is a spare part for which the old part must be removed (replaced) before installation, we do not supply instructions.


The customer will receive a sales receipt (invoice / receipt) for each purchased goods, on which the importer is listed (SEMAFOR Shop, Ing. Petr Beránek, Komenského 295, 471 54 Cvikov)
