Clean the sensor at the bottom before use.

Measurement: Switch on the device with the switch at the top. Remove the soda cover and immerse in water. Wait a few seconds for the displayed value to stabilize.

Calibration: pour the powder into a clean glass, add 250ml of deionized water and mix. It is optimal to measure water at 25 ° C. If the measured PH differs from the specified value, deliver with the potentiometer on the back.

Instructions for use:

1) Remove the protective cap and the protective film on the display
2) rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry
3) turn on the device by holding down the ON / OFF button
4) immerse the pH meter electrode in the test fluid (must not exceed the line)
5) Stir lightly and wait approx. 30 seconds for the measured value to stabilize
6) after the measurement, clean the electrode with clean water, switch off the device with the ON / OFF button and replace the protective cap

Calibration

1) turn on the device
2) Dissolve the calibration powder in 250 ml of distilled water
3) immerse the electrode in a solution with pH 6.86 (recommended water temperature around 25 ° C)
4) press the CAL calibration button for 5 seconds
- the display starts flashing with the displayed value 6.86
-wait until the display stops flashing
5) then clean the electrode with clean water
6) apply the same procedure with pH 4.01 solution
7) clean the electrode again with clean water
8) test the calibration by immersing the instrument in solution, if it shows incorrectly repeat the procedure described above

Recalibration is necessary in the following cases:
- longer period of non-use
- very frequent use
- if you require very accurate measurements
- the CAL button was pressed and the electrode was exposed to air for a long time

Maintenance:
always put the protective cap back on after use to prevent the electrode from drying out by prolonged exposure to air, this could lead to slower and less accuratemeasurement
